For safety and all-day comfort, we added internal Anti-Fatigue Technology metatarsal guards with Timberland PRO® FLEX technology for freedom of motion, composite safety toes, electric hazard protection, electric shock-resistant soles, Anti-Fatigue Technology polyurethane midsoles designed for shock absorption and energy return, puncture-resistant plates, and breathable, moisture-wicking linings with antimicrobial treatment for odor control. Plus, underneath you'll find our heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant, non-marking Timberland PRO® rubber outsoles designed for durable traction.

• Composite Safety Toe: Lightweight, non-metallic, asymmetrical-shaped toe cap. Meets US and Canadian safety standards including ASTM F2413 impact (I) and compression (C) requirements when tested to ASTM F2412, and CSA Z195 grade 1 toe protection.
• CSA Green Triangle and ESR: Meets CSA-Z195-14 safety standards to provide toe protection, puncture resistance and resistance to electric shock in the sole.
• Protective Sole Plate (Metallic Plate): An integrated metallic component in footwear that provides puncture protection to the sole of the foot. Meets US and Canadian safety standards including ASTM F2413 and F2892 puncture resistance requirements when tested to F2412, and CSA Z195 protective sole.
• Metatarsal Guard: Meets ASTM F2413 metatarsal protection (Mt) requirements when tested to ASTM F2412.
• CSA Metatarsal-Protective: Meets US and Canadian safety standards including ASTM F2413 metatarsal protection (Mt) requirements when tested to ASTM F2412, and CSA Z195 metatarsal protection.
• Waterproof Membrane: Delivers waterproof protection, and also provides blood-borne pathogen resistance as defined by ASTM F1671.
• Blood-borne Pathogen Resistant: Breathable membrane helps protect from diseases caused by blood-borne pathogens, as defined by ASTM F1671.
• Electric Hazard Protection: Provides secondary underfoot protection against live electrical circuits, electrically energized conductors, parts or apparatus. Meets the ASTM standards F2413 and F2892 requirements when tested to F2412.
• Electric Shock Resistant Sole: A bottom design and method of attachment that provides electrical insulating properties. Meets the CSA Z195 electric shock resistant requirements, as well as ASTM standards F2413 or F2892 electric hazard protection when tested to F2412.
• Anti-Fatigue Technology: A comfort system designed with shock absorbing, geometrical technology that returns energy back to the foot to deliver all day support and comfort.
• OrthoLite® Insoles: OrthoLite® comfort foam insoles are lightweight, provide moisture transport, antimicrobial function, and long-term cushioning. The ultra-breathable material won't break down or lose cushioning over time, keeping your footwear comfortable and supportive.

• Timberland PRO® Rubber: Heat-resistant, durable rubber compound offers enhanced slip, oil, and abrasion resistance.
• Heat-Resistant Outsole: Solid Timberland PRO® rubber compound outsole resists hot contact using the EN ISO 20344 test method at 572°F (300°C).
• Slip-Resistant (SR): Meets the SR requirements of ASTM F2413, F2892, or F3445, when tested to F2913.
• Microban Odor Control Technology: Microban technology provides an extra layer of protection on footwear fabrics against unpleasant odors, stains, and deterioration caused by bacteria and fungus.
• Waterproof Footwear: Our waterproof footwear incorporates a variety of advanced waterproofing materials, treatments and processes. We start with waterproof leathers that are sealed as part of the tanning process; we then either seam-seal the footwear or use an internal waterproof breathable membrane to help feet stay dry. Tongues and zippers treated with durable water resistant coatings utilize integrated gussets, to further deter water entry.
